As an independent carpenter, he is able to work more closely with his clients. This allows for a more personal connection which naturally makes the entire process more intuitive, creative & rewarding.

About Evan Raye

Evan was born and raised in the Catskill Mountains and wouldn’t rather live anywhere else. Coming from a family of original settlers who made their living as either stone masons, farmers or carpenters, Evan has deep roots in these trades and has found fulfillment in them all. He learned carpentry from his father at a young age, and then spent his early adult years exploring various other avenues such as excavating, stone work and even edible landscaping. He has always come back to carpentry, and now with 17 years experience, he also enjoys combining multiple trades to create unique and beautiful projects, both indoors & out.

In the evenings, when he’s not gardening, you’ll usually find Evan playing music to the mountains with a guitar or fiddle in-hand.
